What to Expect in our Orlando Office

Your First Visit

Our office is very family-friendly. You will be warmly greeted at the front desk, and be acquainted with our children’s waiting room and our front office. Patient will be given new patient forms to fill out, while providing us with a photo ID and insurance card for us to make copies. Once forms are filled out, front desk will review them and give to the doctor. The doctor then consults with the patient about their major health concern and any other health issues that chiropractic might be able to help resolve. Next, the doctor will perform an examination to determine the cause(s) of the patient’s major complaints and recommends x-rays as needed, or further evaluation. This concludes the end of the first visit. The doctor walks the patient back to the front desk, where he/she will schedule their next appointment for the report of findings. The entire visit will take approximately 30-45 min.

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Your Second Visit

Your second visit will take approximately 10-20 minutes. Dr. Nguyen will review the examination findings and recommend a care plan.  This is an opportunity to ask any remaining questions you might have. If you decide to proceed and accept the recommended care plan, you  will receive your first chiropractic adjustment. After your adjustment,  you'll need to stop at the front desk on your way out to schedule your next several appointments.

Regular Visits

For subsequent visits we'll ask you to sign in at front desk, then wait for Dr. Nguyen for an adjustment or for a chiropractic assistant for additional therapies. Your time in our treatment room will depend on your condition and specific needs.  Your visit may take anywhere from five minutes to thirty minutes but you'll never be in our waiting room more than ten minutes.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and you can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.

We recognize your time is valuable. So we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.

Dr. Yen Asks some important questions of interest to Downtown Orlando residents - Chiropractor Downtown Orlando Dr. Yen Asks...

What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
How do most people deal with vertebral subluxations?
First, they try to ignore them. When they don't, they go to the medicine cabinet to stop their brain from feeling the symptom. Later, back surgery may be threatened. Sadly, it's not until this later stage that they consult our Downtown Orlando chiropractic office. Yet, even with the delay, most are delighted by the results produced by today's chiropractic care. Contact us and let's get started.
