About Long Family Chiropractic Center in Orlando

Dr. Yen Nguyen has been practicing family wellness chiropractic for over ten years. Our current office location was chosen 3 years ago to better accomodate patients coming from neighboring towns.  Since it is centrally located in Orlando, we are able to help more people.

Our Chiropractic Philosophy

Our practice philosophy is “health comes from within”. Our focus is family wellness and pregnancy wellness. Our mission is to see that all children are naturally healthy, with regular chiropractic care and good nutrition. We educate parents about raising healthy families. We want to be known as your “family wellness chiropractor” in town.

Our purpose is to help lead families and individuals to optimal wellness, beginning with children, with quality chiropractic care, nutritional supplements, and ongoing health education.

Many of our patients are children, who get well under chiropractic care, are happy, healthy, and rarely miss a school day.  Other patients we see here come for nutritional counseling, and they get well following our clinically designed nutrition program.  As a result of their better health and well-being, they refer many others.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. One question we hear frequently is "How long would I have to come for treatment?"

Answer: That depends on you. Do you want to just get out of pain or do you want to correct the problem and get to wellness? Typically, the initial treatment plan for symptomatic relief is 3x per week for 2-3 weeks, followed by corrective phase of 2x per week, then wellness phase with much less frequency for continued progress and optimal health.

2. Another question we hear frequently is "Do you take insurance?"

Answer:  With insurance, there is a co-payment for each visit, and there is a limitation to the number of visits a patient can have in a year.    Are you going to let your insurance company tell you how many visits you can only have each year, even if your health condition (s) need more to ensure excellent outcome?

We are an established "cash" practice, with the exception of some Medicaid and Cigna.  Our patients pay reasonable fees, and are not limited to the amount of care they can receive.

Our goal is to have a practice full of children, pregnant moms,
and families; to have all of Orlando under regular chiropractic care, exercising, eating healthy, taking supplements, feeling well
and happy!

Dr. Yen Asks some important questions of interest to Downtown Orlando residents - Chiropractor Downtown Orlando Dr. Yen Asks...

What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
How do most people deal with vertebral subluxations?
First, they try to ignore them. When they don't, they go to the medicine cabinet to stop their brain from feeling the symptom. Later, back surgery may be threatened. Sadly, it's not until this later stage that they consult our Downtown Orlando chiropractic office. Yet, even with the delay, most are delighted by the results produced by today's chiropractic care. Contact us and let's get started.
